Personalized Hike Planning & Guidance
Let’s create your own wanderweg!
Trust me, I’ve been there.
Anyone who’s planned a hiking trip knows it’s easier said than done. And in a country like Switzerland, with over 65,000 kilometers of trails, narrowing down the perfect route can turn into a time-consuming challenge. Hours spent reading reviews, checking maps, looking up trail conditions, and coordinating transit - it can get complicated fast. Plus, if you’re visiting from abroad, figuring out the logistics of hiking in a new country makes things even trickier.
So, that’s where I come in.
Hi, I’m Alex 👋 I’ve been living and hiking in Switzerland for over six years, and I’m here to help.
I offer personalized services - 1:1 consultations, custom hiking itineraries, and skill-building sessions - to help you explore the Swiss Alps with confidence. Whether you're a beginner or an seasoned hiker, I tailor all my services to your preferences, experience level, and interests. My expertise lies in showing hikers the hidden side of Switzerland - the one most tourists never get to see. If you are looking for local gems, off-the-beaten-track trails, and epic hut-to-hut adventures, you’ve come to the right place.
My services are particularly suited for those who:
Want to avoid the crowds: While the Swiss Alps are vast, many visitors gravitate toward popular spots like the Jungfrau region. But those open to exploring less-touristic areas will find that Switzerland is home to countless, absolutely stunning destinations.
Want an authentic experience: You’re eager to hike where the locals hike. And, maybe even how the locals hike, like: staying in a dorm in a mountain hut, taking a ride in a small creaky gondola, buying fresh cheese from a farm for lunch, or swimming in an icy alpine lake.
Want a custom plan: Every hike - and every hiker - is unique. I invest time and research into each session or plan to deliver truly personalized guidance that matches your specific needs and interests.
If this sounds like you, let’s get started!
This 60-minute consultation call is tailored specifically for travelers looking for expert advice and customized recommendations. Before the session, you'll complete a short survey so I can research and prepare targeted suggestions based on your travel dates, experience, interests, and fitness level. We’ll cover top hiking regions, trail and hut options, and overall itinerary ideas—designed just for your trip. I’ll also share my favorite tools and resources to help you confidently plan your Swiss hiking adventure.
What’s Included:
60-Minute Call: A video call with tailored recommendations and advice for your trip, plus a general overview of how hiking in Switzerland works.
Post-Call Resources: A consultation recap in writing, plus additional relevant information.
*Please note this does not include a custom itinerary.
My custom itinerary package is ideal for those seeking a multi-day hiking adventure, whether as hut-to-hut or individual day hikes. I’ll work closely with you to design a personalized itinerary tailored to your experience and preferences, ensuring your trip aligns with your goals
